Helping you climb the property ladder

We understand how challenging finding a mortgage can be. Jargon can often make the process overwhelming for most and can take away some of the enjoyment of moving. Whether you are looking to buy your first home, re-mortgage an existing property or wanting to build a buy to let portfolio, we can work with you to find the right mortgage for your needs.

Avoiding technical terms, we help navigate through the process to ensure the whole process of buying a property remains a pleasant one. We compare mortgage deals from a large panel of the UK’s top lenders to ensure you get the best deal possible.

Personal Mortgages
There can be lots of obstacles to overcome when deciding to buy your new home. Getting the right mortgage should not be one of them. Our extensive panel of lenders include both high street institutions and niche companies to help find the right product that is in line with your needs.
Business Mortgages
Whether you have a growing property portfolio or just starting out for the first time, we understand that benefits of having the right secured lending products in place to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget.
Specialist Finance
For prospective home buyers who have more complex needs, our panel of specialist lenders have the ability to underwrite loans on an individual case basis. This gives greater flexibility in the mortgage process and allows for bespoke solutions to be made.

Why we are better than your bank

A bank or building society is only able to offer restricted advice. This means as a lender themselves, they are only permitted to comment on their own mortgage products. There is no guarantee that the best product that matches your needs will be available, or it may have different eligibility criteria. There could be the circumstance where you are sold a product that is not an ideal fit – something that could prove to be costly later on. A fee will be charged on advice, regardless of whether the mortgage is for residential or business purposes.

This effectively means the bank will be charging you for a meeting at which they will offer you their own products. It has also been seen that loyalty is not fully rewarded in lower fees or interest rates charged. In such a competitive environment where applications are plentiful, lenders are able to cherry pick the very best applicants meaning their loyalties to current customers is often lost.

Benefits of our mortgage advice service

Whole of market

Our panel of lenders include both high street institutions and specialist companies that can offer bespoke mortgage products specific to your circumstances.

Looking ahead

We take a long-term view to organising your mortgage, taking into account your future goals to find a solution that works both now and going forward.

Save you time

By understanding the general criteria of different lenders, we work to focus our search on products that offer the best opportunities for acceptance and are cost-effective.

Independent

As a company, we are privately owned and therefore are not tied to any insurance company. We work for you rather than someone else to find you the best deal.

Aftercare support

We know that a mortgage is a large commitment and continue to remain in contact with you to ensure your selected product remains suitable over the term of the loan.

Save you money

Some of our lenders only accept applications from advised clients, but can offer market leading rates. This can result in a considerable saving over the term of the loan.

The mortgage application process

Initial consultation

The first step of the process is to contact our team to book in your initial consultation at a time most convenient to you. This can be organised by completing a request a callback form. During this conversation, we will ask some information about the property you want to buy, details of your income and the source of the funds to go towards the purchase. This will allow us to start our own research into suitable products. At this stage, we will also outline how the mortgage process works, the documents we require to process your application and be able to answer any questions you may have.

Application preparation

Lenders require evidence of any income you earn and the source of deposit funds as part of their affordability checks for a particular mortgage product and it is worth us obtaining these ahead of time. Behind the scenes, we will be searching for products that suit your needs from a wide panel of potential lenders.

Application accepted

We will work with the lender to make sure everything is in place for your mortgage to be accepted. Once this process is completed, all the funding will be in place to go ahead to with the new purchase.

Online service – backed with real people

As an online mortgage broker, our lean process of conducting business means we can be far more competitive in our pricing. With whole of market access, our panel of lenders includes specialist lenders not on the high street that have products that are suitable to those with more complex needs.

Whilst searching for the right mortgage provider, many fall victim to multiple credit checks being carried out. By carrying everything out on behalf of you, we can minimise the number of checks that need to be carried out and attempt to get your mortgage approved in as short a period as possible.
